In-house faciltators add value in a variety of ways, including independance from the consultant. Internal facilitators know all the ins and outs of your company and are best suited to drive and sustain long term improvements.

  • Do it while the consultant observes
  • Get feedback

Development Plan

The following table describes the fastest approach to developing ten (10) Facilitators within an organization. This plan will provide:

  • Up to 10 Lean Office Facilitators
  • 60 - 90 associates that will have participated in a Lean Office event.

Consultant meets with facilitator candidates to prepare them for the first workshop

 

Candidates observe and participate in first workshop  (Consultant led)

Seminar for up to 10 facilitator candidates

  • Debrief first workshop
  • Deep dive on materials
  • Develop facilitation and presentation skills
    Practice presenting materials

    Candidates facilitate workshops

  • Consultant observes candidate's facilitation: 
    two lead this initial workshop
  • Each workshop starts on
    a different day
  • Consultant provides individual coaching and feedback for each facilitator candidate
